Enrolment Agreement
- By accepting these terms, the participant agrees to pay the Course fees for ‘The Wound Care Course for Pharmacists’ and relevant services, using the payment method selected at the checkout.
- The participant accepts that he/she is required to pay the full amount of the Course fees even if he/she does not complete the Course.
- The approximate duration of the Course is stated on the course page in the course FAQs.
- Course commencement is the date upon which we receive your course fees in full.
- The participant has read the FAQs.
Course Enrolment
- There are no course or subject pre-requisites for entry into our programs. However, our professional development programs are generally intended for people over the age of 18.
- One (1) participant per enrolment;
- Course enrolment is complete when the participant has been issued a username and password for Learning Management System (LMS) access;
- Course duration is effective from the date LMS access/access to materials is granted;
- Course commencement is effective from the date LMS access/access to materials is granted;
- Special offer coupon codes cannot be added to an enrolment retrospectively and must be added at the time of checkout/enrolment;
- You will be automatically enrolled into the free Allied Health Wound Care Community group upon creation of an account.
Group discounts
- Group discounts may apply for 5 or more participants for the Course bundle at a reduction of total cost. This is subject to change and will be decided on a case-by-case basis by The Wound Educator
- To apply for group discounts, please email [email protected] with names of participants and any relevant information such as Pharmacy group
- Group discounts may be provided in the form of coupons with an unique code
Course Materials, Access and Assessment
- Course Materials are supplied in an online environment, unless otherwise specified in the course description. Optional printable materials are available for most modules. Some modules have the option of downloading and printing the materials via our LMS. Recorded videos as part of the course content may not be available for downloading or redistribution.
- The content of the online Course Materials, including copyright and all other such intellectual property rights contained therein, remain the property of The Wound Educator. You may not reproduce any part of the online Course Materials without the prior written consent of The Wound Educator;
- Course materials, course content and assessment are subject to change;
- Course duration/study hours are estimates only;
- Course access is available for 365 days unless otherwise specified;
- Course materials are provided online via our LMS 24/7 or via alternative means. Course materials comprise of online resources including interactive learning content, videos (where specified), quizzes and assessment. The LMS site may occasionally be unavailable during scheduled maintenance.;
- To complete the ‘The Wound Care Course for Pharmacists’ you will need a computer (desktop PC/laptop) running a current/updated operating system with reliable high-speed internet access. You will also need basic computer skills, such as typing, knowledge of how to navigate the Internet and be able to use word processing programs.
- Modules/subject titles located within our LMS are for internal purposes only and do not appear on Certificates of Completion;
- You will receive Certificates of Completion on successful completion of the modules for Part 1 and Part 2 of the course;
- All assessment must be submitted electronically and quizzes are accessed through a third-party platform 'Simple Sim'; and
- You will have 365 days or twelve (12) months’ course materials access, with extensions available upon application (fees may apply).
Online account
Your online account and course materials are for your own use only and sharing of your accounts and login details are prohibited. The Wound Educator reserves to right to disable and cancel any accounts that have been deemed to be shared with another student.
Course Withdrawal and Refunds
The Wound Educator complies with Australian Consumer Law in regard to refunds. We are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind about the course that you chose to enrol into.
However, while course fees are non-refundable, students may have extenuating circumstances that prevent them from undertaking their course. Where evidence can be successfully provided to support the student’s circumstances, course fees may be refunded or partially refunded as per the following:
- A full refund is permitted if the enrolment is cancelled prior to the commencement date and if access to resources has not been provided yet.
- A 50% refund is permitted if the enrolment is cancelled within 7 days of the course commencement date.
- No refund will be provided after 7 days of the course commencement date.
- No refund will be provided where work or assessment has been saved or submitted.
- Refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days to process, depending on your banking institution.
- Printed materials are non-refundable.
Refund requests must be made in writing to [email protected]. The decision of assessing the extenuating circumstances rests with The Wound Educator and shall be assessed on a case by case situation.
If you are having difficulties completing your course by the enrolment expiry date, a course extension may be available in some cases (charges may apply). Email [email protected] to apply.
Credit Voucher/Coupon Code Policy
All credit vouchers/discount coupons have the following conditions of use:
- Not redeemable for cash;
- Valid for one (1) use only;
- Not valid with any other offer/gift voucher/coupon code;
- The coupon code must be entered at the time of enrolment/course commencement; discount cannot be applied at a later date.
- Coupons/vouchers cannot be used to order printed materials; and
- Coupon code can only be used in the time frame specified in the special offer.
