Yes students and interns are welcome to enrol in the course as the information and skills are relevant and appropriate to beginners. To maximise the outcomes of the course, it is best to apply your learning by gaining experience in a community pharmacy setting.
This course provides skills and knowledge for pharmacists with any level of exposure or experience in wound care. It will cover the basics of providing evidence-based wound care advice, with or without providing a Wound Care service such as dressing and treating a wound.
Yes, I currently practice as a Wound Care Pharmacist at pharmacy-based Wound and Compression clinics. I'm credentialed via Wounds Innovations and can advise participants on my experience and the pathway to becoming credentialed.
Participants currently have 365 days of access to all content provided in the Wound Care course. After this, a refresher course may be required to update wound care skills and knowledge with further access to the content.
Yes, discounts are available for groups of 5 or more pharmacists or students. Please get in touch to arrange access to an unique coupon on enrolment. Please note that each pharmacist or student will need to register individually to access own login.
There will be a number of dates available throughout the year for the Wound Workshop component. If you become unavailable on an enrolled date, it can be transferred to a different date. If you are unable to find a suitable date, please reach out to The Wound Educator to make special arrangements.
Please see Terms & Conditions of Use. The Wound Educator complies with Australian Consumer Law in regard to refunds. We are not required to provide a refund if you change your mind about the course that you chose to enrol into. However, for extenuating circumstances where evidence can be successfully provided, course fees may be refunded or partially refunded on request and assessed on a case by case situation.
